Julie's Friends

Julie’s Friends is a non-profit foundation dedicated to extending the lives of as many family furbabies as we possibly can. We aim to achieve this mission by helping as many pet parents, who meet our program guidelines, manage medical expenses as we possibly can.

A NOTE FROM LISA & DIEGO HARRISON:

We established Julie’s Friends in honor of our beloved cat, Julie, a beautiful Oriental Shorthair kitty who changed our lives the day we met her. Julie was not adopted or fostered, but found in a dumpster and taken home with us to live the life she deserved. Tragically, Julie was diagnosed with cancer, which put an emotional and financial strain on us, one we soon realized that no one else should have to experience. Thankfully, with the right medical treatment, Julie lived an additional three and half years of joyful life. After Julie passed, we decided that animals that have a future, but simply need medical care, deserve that future. It is our greatest honor to help extend the lives of as many animals as our resources allow.

Julie’s Friends aims to do just that: to give financial aid to low-income families whose pets are in need of non-emergency medical care. Our goal will always be to find animals who have long lives ahead of them if only they have the proper medical attention.

xoxo,
Lisa & Diego Harrison
